DACA Advisory Services was established in 2017 to bring a wide range of skills and capabilities to businesses and government including:
Over 30 combined years professional experience in the development of ICT strategy, frameworks and policies in the Commonwealth Government;
Management of accreditation programs and standards development including evaluation and compliance
Extensive experience and understanding of the technology industry: including cloud computing, identity management including biometrics, mobile, IoT and authentication and authorisation issues
Deep understanding of security, privacy, legal and legislative issues related to government ICT project delivery
A strong client focus including excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as strong stakeholder management, negotiation, customer liaison, community consultation and teamwork skills
Understanding the accessibility requirements of government customers
Other skills, for example research and data analysis, Agile, program/project management, and ICT governance.

The Team
Drew Andison
Co-founder and Director
Drew is well-thought of in the identity and authentication and access management spaces both domestically and internationally.
Since co-founding DACA in 2017, he has provided digital identity advice to a number of clients, worked with a leading management consultancy on a series of agency business case initiatives in Canberra.
Drew has particular experience in evaluating the privacy practices of both government and commercial identity providers. He has negotiated complex deeds of agreement with each provider with comprehensive privacy obligations subject to annual audits. Drew has extensive experience assessing government agency ICT investment proposals, including with reference to privacy and security standards and legislation where consumer information was involved.
Drew has over 30 years policy experience in the Australian Public Services and while there he led the development of the Trusted Digital Identity Framework (TDIF), a policy framework that will underpin the implementation of a national digital identity federation.
Drew holds an honours degree in Bachelor of Arts (Economics / Education) from Macquarie University.

Christine Andison
Co-founder and Director
Christine has spent over three decades spanning both the public and private sectors working in various roles related to online service delivery. She has a wide range of skills and capabilities including extensive experience in and understanding of the technology industry: including digital transformation, enterprise architecture, business process and solution design, issues related to cross-agency initiatives, cloud computing, and identity management.
Christine is a skilled researcher with a strong analytical capability, a program/project manager, and has a deep understanding of Agile, security, risk, compliance, privacy, legal and legislative issues related to government ICT and is able to understand the needs of non-technical users through involvement in extensive user research for the digital platforms program.
Christine is a subject matter expert on authentication, authorisation, public key infrastructure, cloud computing, digital platforms, and enterprise architecture. She has extensive experience in project management, performance management, strategy and governance.
Christine holds a Graduate Diploma in Psychology, a Graduate Certificate in Internet Marketing, and a Bachelor of Commerce. She has a TOGAF 9 certification through the Open Group and is a qualified program/project manager.
